Milwaukee County

Susan Barbour, Ed.D. is a licensed psychologist and a psychoanalyst helping women with the emotional issues of  pregnancy, miscarriage, and/or postpartum depression and anxiety. She is Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry and Behavior Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Laura Gertz, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who sees patients at the Aurora Behavioral Health Center in Franklin, WI. She has more than 10 years of experience in the mental health field treating children, adolescents, and adults. Abbey Kruper, Psy.D. received her Doctorate of Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Caitlin Myles, MS, LMFT is a sex therapist and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She sees couples, individuals ages 13-65, and families. Katie O’Connor, MS, LPC, ATR, MFT-IT, PMH-C is a Couples and Family Therapist who helps moms and dads suffering from perinatal mood disorders. She holds the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) credential issued by Postpartum Support International, and specializes in effective, evidence-based treatments including CBT, EMDR, and SFBT. Dr. Jennifer Swanson, Psychologist, EdD, CPT is a psychologist as well as an AFAA certified personal trainer and owner of Fitness N Mind, LLC. Pregnancy and Parenting Support with Catholic Charities offers a home visit education and support program for prenatal and postpartum women. Mental Health Clinicians are also available to provide therapy in the home through this program. All pregnancy and parenting supportive services are free of charge. The Family Counseling Clinic at Aurora Family Services provides qualified staff who have extensive training in infant, childhood and family mental health and understand the unique needs and challenges PPD and related illnesses bring to a mom and family. Emily Aleksy, LCSW is a clinical social worker providing individual and family therapy in a small private practice in Port Washington. Misty Crass, MSW, CAPSW is a Certified Advance Practice Social Worker who specializes in adults going through life transitions that cause depression and anxiety symptoms. Life transitions can be anything from becoming a parent, losing a job, experiencing a break-up, losing a loved one, or moving to a new area. Her focus with clients is to bring balance and hope back into the picture. She has experience working with adolescents in an inpatient setting and adults in an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program setting. Alicia Fleischmann LPC, CSAC, ICS, CCM received her Master’s Degree from Marquette University and has been practicing in the field for 7 years. Kim Gorecki, PsyD is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and owner of Gorecki Psychological Services, LLC.
